Defending champion Franz Zorn and Josef Kreuzberger will represent Austria in the Texom European Individual Ice Speedway Championship – Sanok 2025. European Ice Speedway Championship is fast approaching. Franz Zorn will be the favorite of Texom European Individual Ice Speedway Championship – Sanok 2025. Zorn is one of the most experienced and recognizable competitors in this sport. “Franky” is a three-time Individual European Champion from 2008, 2023 and 2024. He won all the titles on the track in Sanok, which is why he has got lots of sympathy for the Podkarpacie city. This year, Zorn will want to win at the “Błonie” track for the third time in a row although his preparations were hampered by a foot injury, which forced him to miss a few weeks.
Franz Zorn will be accompanied by his compatriot Josef Kreuzberger in Saturday’s competition. The experienced Austrian representative knows the Sanok track very well, here he had already had the opportunity to compete. However, it was quite a long time ago, because he did not take part in the Individual European Championships organized there in the 2020s. He is counting on a successful return to the “Błonie” track.
