Texom has become the title sponsor of the European Individual Ice Speedway Championship in Sanok. It is a Polish construction company that carries out general contracting works in industrial, residential, public utility and conservation buildings. The competition at the Blonie track in Sanok will take place on February 24 and 25 – the start on both days at 2 p.m. Tickets are available for sale online.
Texom is well known in the sports industry for its sponsorship of, among others, speedway riders from Stal Rzeszow or footballers from Wisla Krakow. It is also a proven partner of Speedwayevents.pl, promoting itself for a long time on the occasion of events organized by us in speedway sport.
The foundation of Texom’s operations is the long experience of its partners – people with managerial skills and authorizations to perform independent functions in the construction industry, based on many years of work in the construction industry in the field of managing, directing and supervising construction works in the largest companies in the country. The company gives priority to each implementation.
Competition
This is the second year in a row that Texom has supported the competition of ice speedway riders. In the previous edition, the championship title fell into the hands of Austrian Franz Zorn, who overtook Luca Bauer (Italy) and Jimmie Olsen (Sweden) in the overall standings. The gold medalist thus repeated his feat from 2008, when he became continental champion for the first time.
The formula for the competition remains unchanged. It provides for 20 races in the main phase, after which the two most successful riders will find a place immediately in the final race. The fight for the remaining two will take place in a barrage, which will be contested by speedway riders from places 3-6 after the main phase. The sum of points, won in the two tournaments, will determine the final classification, and thus this year’s medalists. It is worth mentioning that 8 federations will field their athletes in this year’s edition. A total of 18 names will traditionally appear on the entry list – 16+2 reserves.
Tickets
Ticket sales for the event in Sanok are already underway. Ticket packages have been prepared for two days of ice speedway on the “Blonie” track, and you can also purchase tickets separately for each day. Prices are the same as last year. Sales are conducted online – at bilety.speedwayevents.pl and at ebilet.pl.

Tickets for people with disabilities: The organizers have prepared a pool of free tickets for fans with disabilities. Eager persons are asked to apply – by February 15 – at the following email address: events@speedwayevents.pl, writing “Ice Speedway ticket” in the subject line of the message. The condition for receiving a free ticket will be to send a copy of a document proving a severe disability. Free admission is due to both the person with a disability and his/her guardian. The number of seats is limited!
