We got to know the name of the Italian representative who will fight on the track during the European Individual Ice Speedway Championship. Luca Bauer, who was born in Germany, will start in Sanok during two days (February 25 and 26 at 14.00).
This talented competitor will fight for the title as the runner-up of Europe and his goal will certainly be only one – to improve the result from the previous year. Luca also has two bronze medals at the European Championships, won in 2019 and 2021. For complete happiness, he lacks only gold, which would complement his rich collection. Bauer junior is one of the clear favorites to fight for the top prize.
There was a generational change in 2019, when his father Gunther Bauer ended his track career in Inzell. He is one of the greatest legends of ice speedway and the best German racer in history. Luca is on his way to change that and overtake his father in sports achievements.
