Czech speedway federation has chosen three riders who will participate in the Texom European Individual Ice Speedway Championship – Sanok 2025. Lukáš Hutla and Andrej Diviš, while Lukáš Hromadka will be the reserve. Tickets are available online at biuro.speedwayevents.pl and at ebilet.pl.
Lukáš Hutla will be the leader of Czech team in Sanok. He is a rider who participates in European Individual Ice Speedway Championships for years, but there’s always something lacking. Maybe a bit of luck?
A year ago Czechia rider came fifth during the two-day competition on the “Błonie” track. In 2023, Hutla advanced to one of the finals, but was excluded from it which deprived him of the opportunity to win the bronze medal of the continental championships. Ultimately, he took fourth place, 2 points behind the Swede – Jimmy Olsen. A year earlier, he was literally one point short of a medal. Maybe the upcoming tournament will finally be lucky for the Czech?

In the recent Czech International Individual Championships, Hutla beat the one and only Franky Zorn in one of the races. The competition was halted due to weather conditions, but beating Zorn must a boost for the Czech rider.
– Sanok is a very beautiful city, full of history. You can’t complain about the track either. For as long as I can remember, it has always been well prepared. However, you must remember that the motorcycle settings there are different than those we use in Inzell or Heerenveen. I’m glad that there are always great races and a nice atmosphere. I saw that the fans were having a good time and that’s what it’s all about. Last year I had problems with my technique and ultimately missed the podium at the European Championships. So I wasn’t completely satisfied – says Lukáš Hutla.
Andrej Diviš will be the second representative of Czechia in the Texom European Individual Ice Speedway Championship – Sanok 2025.
A year ago, Diviš was tenth on the Sanok track. The speedway rider’s highest ranking was in 2020 – he was eighth in Tomaszów Mazowiecki. Diviš regularly competes in Swedish Superligan, in the past he also took part in the finals of the European and World Championships.
Third Czech representative, Lukáš Hromadka, will be a reserve rider in Sanok.
